Kathy Pappas Petsas campaign collects 1,336 nomination signatures from across Legislative District 28 in only 25 days
Republican Kathy Pappas Petsas announced that her campaign collected 1,336 nomination signatures in only 25 days – convincingly demonstrating Pappas Petsas has strong Republican grassroots support across Legislative District 28. The 1,336 signatures collected are nearly three times the required 453 signatures needed to get on the ballot.
“I am honored and humbled to have the support of hard-working families across LD 28,” Pappas Petsas said. “They are standing with me and my campaign because they know I am a reliable go-to leader and community servant.
“Walking door to door, I personally collected 735 signatures,” Pappas Petsas added. “I am prepared to work hard every day before and after November 6 to ensure Republican House representation from Legislative District 28.
After meeting with many LD 28 Republican and Independent voters, I fully understand how important education is to our constituents. Given my background and strong roots in the community they know I value and will advocate for proper education funding to achieve positive student outcomes and accountability among all our education choices. This along with my support for small business and keen interest in protecting taxpayers from government overreach, make me a perfect fit to represent LD 28.”
