Kathy Pappas Petsas secures Greater Phoenix Chamber endorsement in Legislative District 28

The Greater Phoenix Chamber endorsed Republican Kathy Pappas Petsas in Legislative District 28.

“I am honored to have the support of one of Arizona’s top advocates for a strong and stable economy.” Pappas Petsas said. “I am especially proud the Greater Phoenix Chamber, which advocates so strongly for small businesses, recognizes my commitment to ensuring Arizona’s economy continues to thrive. I will keep working hard to take our campaign’s positive pro-growth message to every corner of Legislative District 28.”

The Chamber, in announcing its 2018 primary election endorsements, said it was endorsing candidates who “understand the issues impacting the success of business, and who are willing to collaborate to advance policies that will support a prosperous economy in the Greater Phoenix Region and throughout the state of Arizona.”

“The Chamber is proud to support candidates focused on boosting Arizona’s economy through job creation and business retention and expansion,” the Chamber added. The Chamber represents 2,400 businesses across the Greater Phoenix region.

Kathy Pappas Petsas announced on June 4 her campaign collected 1,336 nomination signatures in only 25 days – demonstrating that Pappas Petsas has strong conservative grassroots support and momentum across Legislative District 28. That’s nearly three times the 453 signatures needed to get on the ballot.

“Walking door to door, I personally collected 736 signatures,” Pappas Petsas added. “Now I am prepared to work hard every day until Nov. 6 to ensure that I can help the Republican Legislature continue supporting education, improving infrastructure, helping small businesses, and protecting taxpayers from government overreach.”

“I am going to ask everyone for their vote, and I will not take any voter for granted,” Pappas Petsas said.
